BeeS is an endless-runner game where the player controls a character to maneouvre around and avoid obstacles that are approaching.

Game Details

This game is a homage to flappy bird with additional mechanics added to the game. Instead in a 2D side-scrolling environment, this game is set in a 3D environment with new movement mechanics. 

There are 3 main controls and are depicted in the in-game controls section below. When playing the game, the character will approach the obstacle ahead and the player would need to avoid crashing into it by controlling the character. A bonk image and a sound cue would be played when the player collides with an obstacle.

In-Game Controls

Tap Screen	Character Moves Upwards

This game uses Accelerometer on your device to control horizontal movement.

Wind Indicator

 There are 3 wind strengths:

• Low
• Moderate
• High

Wind will cause the character to drift towards that direction. Players would be able to counteract the wind by moving towards the opposite direction. In random intervals, wind would appear with random strengths. Arrows will appear to the left or right of the score number and will indicate the strength of the wind and direction of the wind.

• 1 Arrow - Low Wind
• 2 Arrows - Moderate Wind
• 3 Arrows - High Wind

Dev Notes

Even though the game is titled "BeeS" only a singular bee can be seen in the game. Originally, this game was a scifi endless runner but during game design phase it was changed. The original idea to create this game was "Flappy Bird but with additional mechanics" and I continued from there.

Additionally, I couldn't find a suitable asset for the obstacles within the game so all of the obstacles for are placeholders till I can find or create an asset for it.
